Who is Julianna?

The 'Julianna' - Henry's "Greatest Generation" motherJulianna is Henry's "Greatest Generation" mother. She taught him to be passionate about life and to live every moment to its fullest. She encouraged him to pursue his dream of owning a vineyard and is very proud of his incredible wines. Julianna or "Juli" as many of us know her is vivacious, strong, passionate and full of character and we feel our wines encompass all that she is.

Debbie and HenryThe owners, Debbie and Henry, are both native born Midwesterners. Henry was born and raised on the southside of Chicago. Debbie was born and raised in Oregon, Ohio. Yes, Oregon Ohio. It’s a small town just outside of Toledo. Together they have lived in some of the world’s finest wine regions, Spain, Germany, Portugal, California.

They have spent the last 30 years traveling the world over, learning about wines and wine styles. However, they both still possess the “Classic American Spirit” towards producing superb, distinct wines appealing to the evolving world palate.

Thomas & Katie ShookThomas & Katie Shook have recently joined the Julianna Team. They grew up surrounded by vineyards in the Rancho Cucamonga and Temecula areas of Southern California.

Passionate about wine, they set out to find a vineyard they could call home. Roseburg was a perfect fit with a growing wine valley and friendly people like Henry & Debbie. They fell in love with the wine and view of the river and knew they had found just what they looking for.

You will usually see Katie in the tasting room or out on the Riverivew deck with Debbie. Thomas is often working out in the vineyard helping Henry tend to the vines. Thomas & Katie are working side by side with Henry and Debbie to make sure your experience at Julianna Vineyards is one to remember.
